In seeking health and wellness for myself, I have learned the importance of nutrition and overall health. I have been working professionally as a Physical Therapist for 12 years. I have worked as a physical therapist in critical access hospitals treating patients of all ages and diagnoses. I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology at Buena Vista University, followed by my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Des Moines University. After shadowing at a local PT clinic, I knew this was the career for me. This spurred my interest in physical therapy. Being a dual sport athlete in college, I spent a lot of time in the athletic training room. Upon graduation from high school, I knew that I wanted to do something in the health field.
